About Us

We promote, support, and advance Igbo language and culture.

Nzuko Ndigbo was set up as a cultural organization designed for people of the
Igbo culture who reside in the Gävleborg area by a few number of Igbos
residing in Gävle who came together in 2014 to create a forum for the purpose
of promoting unity, igbo values , cultural harmony with the rest of the society.

Nzuko Ndigbo Gävleborg NNG aims:

The purpose of the Nzuko Ndigbo is to promote good membership relations and
member support services, through programs and projects fostering cohesiveness
and cultural solidarity, self-respect, and good citizenship.

Improve our school children Mother's tongue

Igbo language as our children’s mother tongue will help our Children to stay connected to our culture and our roots. This will help them to stimulate creativity.

Change African child crises appeal to Social responsibility

As part of Nzuko Ndigbo social responsibility outreach, we have chosen a motherless baby’s home Ave Maria St Francis of Assisi house of Charity Amapu Ntighe Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, Abia State in Nigeria we support with clothing, foodstuffs, and money.

We encourage children with special needs to participate in cultural activities.

As part of the Nzuko NdiIgbo goals every child matters irrespective of their disabilities therefore everyone is encouraged to participate as discrimination is discouraged

We celebrate life, culture and well-being with a new yam festival
